My 2012 Sales Goal

Last night I was thinking about how I could synthesize my goals for sales growth and improving our business for 2012 into one concise sentence that anyone could understand.  Here is what I came up with (and sorry we do not disclose #’s so the % is masked):

X% top-line revenue increase, while prioritizing better business over more business.

This incorporates 3 important concepts I want to focus on:

  • Grow our business by X%
  • Seek customers who are a great fit
  • More is not always better long-term
